HFS...
I absolutely hate my job right now and I feel depressed. I just celebrated my one year anniversary at my job, and I pray that I will win the lottery - or at least get a notice in the mail for jury duty so that I don't have to go to work.
I am currently looking for a new position; however, I have a mortgage so I can't quit until I find a job with an equivalent salary. I could give you a whole list of why I don't like my job: such as inconsistent management policies, low morale, having to work constant overtime just to keep up with everything (I'm on salary so I'm not getting paid for this extra time), uninformed upper management. If however, I am really depressed and that is WHY I hate my job, then once I find a new job I'm still going to feel just as tired, uninterested, unmotivated as I feel now.

Yo dude, no worries... I hated my job to. Shitty salary, with asswipe management, low morale cause they treated everyone like crapola... well now I am self employed and enjoying it. Hope your situation is better now!
All the negative energy these commenters have... wow. I think that you should consider finding a woman to keep you occupied. Some one who will let you give vent to your depression and will really listen and try to comfort you. Of course at times you have to comfort them too, and that can add to your stress. Just don' masturbate or smoke, whatever you do.
"getting a life you bigass fucking whining baby. WHo gives a shit. WHy did you just jump in front of a bus now. Shut the fuck up"
You're a stupid bitch. Learn English, idiot.

I would start smoking some weed, it might make you feel better. And I would start calling in more often saying your sick and go fishing with some buddies or family. If you don't feel like smoking, then start drinking beer or wine to boost your morale. If you have to work over time late at night, call in and say your deathly ill and go to the bar and shoot some pool with some buddies. Excercising would also help a lot too, although it is hard to do when you are not motivated to do anything. But push yourself to live life to the fullest and I guarantee you will feel better.
